Supplements-to take or not to take?

Supplements-to take or not to take?

So there has been a lot of conflicting opinions on supplements and whether they are good to take or just a way of enriching the vitamin content of urine. Honestly, I don’t know which expert opinion and whose opinion to believe.

However, what I do know is that I have been impressed by the result of taking calcium complex with magnesium and vitamin D3. What is the impressive result? My knees, which started aching about a year ago, have stopped aching at all. It took about 3 weeks for this ache to noticeably ease, and I have even been able to crouch again with no ache and stiffness.

I initially started taking this supplement after researching good supplements to take for teeth and root decay, as well as safeguarding against physical effects of the perimenopause. Whatever may be said by sceptics about the dubious results of taking supplements, I decided it was worth the risk of wasting about £12 for 90 capsules. And actually, I can honestly state that I feel the beneficial results. Therefore, I will continue to spend money on these “urine enrichers” 😉

I have also been taking coenzym Q10 and soya isoflavons at the recommendation of my mother who stated that everything seems to “dry up” in your late 40s and 50s. Not a chearful prospect but a reality worth preparing for. So perhaps taking a risk and judging the results for myself is worth a few notes. It has been for me.
